I cut all of my half-square triangle pairs for the Tulip Time blocks from 2 1/2'' strips saving me time and increasing my accuracy. Traditional rotary cutting sizes are given for those who don't choose to use this ruler. |

I love the Olfa Frosted rulers for their clear non-glare visibility, and easy to read markings that don't hide my fabric pieces underneath big white or black circles or other colored markings. This is the perfect size for squaring the Tulip Time blocks, and the diagonal line is a bonus for trimming the stem units in each block.
