I designed this small quilt as a “get your feet wet!” project for our 2017 trip to China.This pattern is simple enough to finish in not-so-much-time, the center medallion is easy to sew on-the-go and there are only 7 stars to make.

The center is appliqued to the quilt background, a great way to show off a favorite piece of batik fabric, and then some easy piecing in the borders will add just the right touch to tie these simple methods together.

This 7 page full color pattern includes the use of the Essential Triangle Tool for the half-square triangles and flying geese in the borders. Traditional unit sizes are given for those who prefer to use another method.Printable diamond page included.
